The Gaglianico Castle (25 km away) One of the best preserved landmarks of the Biella, its distinct quadrilateral structure, double moat, and classic Italian greenery make it a unique visit. The subject of both historic and architectural study on many occasions, it was building in the mid-15th Century by Carlo D’Amboise. Unfortunately it can only be admired from afar because it is private property and thus not open to the public.
